Welcome to Tokugawa, a hidden gem located at 49 Boulevard Du Montparnasse in Paris. This Japanese restaurant offers a variety of mouth-watering dishes that will transport you to the vibrant streets of Tokyo. From traditional plats chauds like Katsu don and Yakiniku don to exquisite sushi platters like Minakochan and Reichan, Tokugawa has something to satisfy every craving.
One of the standout features of Tokugawa is their delicious brochettes yakitori, including the flavorful Brochettes Goku and the mouthwatering Brochettes Cheesesan. Each skewer is grilled to perfection and served with fragrant white rice, creating a perfect harmony of flavors.
Don't forget to try their refreshing accompaniments like the Salade d'algue and their special Tokugawa sauce, which adds a unique twist to every dish. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients at Tokugawa truly set it apart from other Japanese restaurants in the area.

The combination of bold flavors, impeccable presentation, and friendly service make dining at Tokugawa an unforgettable experience. Make sure to book a table and indulge in the culinary delights that this establishment has to offer.
Initially unsure about this place as the menu had a mixture of japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. However, we ordered the katsu don and beef ramen, and although not authentic japanese flavors.. the dishes were certainly delicious! I would describe their cuisine as fusion asian. Would come back again!
Comfort food Katsu and Curry were very good. Sashimi was fresh and the brochette very tasteful. And staff nice! The price is honest and worthy.
One of the best local japanese restaurant , good value for money and friendly staff
I’m Japanese and people who worked there had warm welcome even I do not look Japanese! Everyone should come this place to experience real Japanese food or to remember their home country!
We just happened to walk by this restaurant on a Saturday night. What a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. I ordered a Katsu Don and my wife ordered a Take Sashimi dinner. The skewers were delicious. The service was good. We loved our experience!! We will definitely come back next time we are in Paris.
Very nice place, good food, nice service and normal places for a japanese restaurant in Paris. I recomend totally this place for a nice lunch or dinner.
